Focus: Hope - Walk, Sunday October 9th October 9th marked the first EFS C.A.R.E. CORP charity event at the Ferndale branch. Erickson's employees gave their energy and support to sponsor Focus: Hope Walk 2005. The walk consisted of 8 miles through Detroit & Highland Park, going past local landmarks and the site where the 1967 Detroit Riots began. We walked as a commitment to: Civil and human rights Equal opportunities Unity in the fight against racism, poverty, and injustice The day ended at 4:30 with many sore feet, knees, and legs. We are a very fortunate bunch and it felt wonderful to have the opportunity to give back and support our community! It truly was a rewarding experience!
